Mr. Marmalade

Mr. Marmalade, by Noah Haidle, is a black comedy about a 4-year-old names Lucy and her dismal view of adulthood, as represented through her strained relationship with an imaginary friend.

Aside from the two children, Lucy and Larry, the other characters are the influences of the outside world that are shaping the thoughts that the children have on adulthood and the meaning of life. The viewer can see the dismal state of those thoughts through the making of their imaginary friends.
